Hi, haven't gotten the chance to write about Part 2 of our little excursion to Vietnam.

Still haven't got the chance to write about my twenty-fifth birthday celebration, thrown by the missus and friends.

Anyway, all of us received an internal memo the other day, regarding information sharing on social media, which means we can't write about our company, which would disclose the company's information, so on and so forth. Speaking of which, I haven't been writing about work at all.

Well, I have been assigned to a project team now. This is my first project in where I work at.
The lead engineer is technically a bitch, as mentioned by the colleagues based on their experiences. I try not to be affected with such comments, but after the 1st kick off meeting, I foresee my worst nightmare, for at least 18 months now.

On a side note, I have admitted to a few of my colleagues about my sexuality.
I have always been caution about whom I disclose my private life to. Friends are okay with it (not that I care if they don't) but certainly, a little words of encouragement and support is equally important to me. Somehow, my sense of fashion and the way I carry myself gave me out. Hahaha..although I have been getting questions like "Tang, do you like girls?" plenty of times, which I often shrug or keep quiet. I didn't want to lie, but I do not want to admit because my colleagues are mostly from an earlier generation, married, expecting moms. I don't want my private life to affect my work life. Being discriminated is one thing, but it's not necessary you know.
Anyway, one day, they asked and finally I decided to come out. To a few people.

One thing was I respect them much to owe them the truth.
And the other was, I was getting tired of hearing comments on "Tang, why don't you pak tor?" when actually I am happily attached to the missus.
I'm glad that they said "Don't worry. We will keep to ourselves."
Well, one of them actually confessed that she liked girls, until she got married.

:)
