I personally think it requires more than a big heart; it requires a full-fledged thick skin and also a whole set of patience. Yes, patience was what I lacked of. I am not the kind who will slowly nurture into something or someone. I did not have patience with people who are not competent enough to work alongside with me and almost always I did not have the patience to even repeat my sentence whenever people could not hear me.
So this thing about being a giver, really tires me. But then again, I have a gigantic heart and well, very substantial amount of skin on my face. I felt that the people should be given an option to how they live their life, and my job is fairly simply. To share about Happy LIfe Project.
Most of the time, it seems like I have to beg for people's time and attention to hear me out, when I felt it should be the other way around. No, don't get me wrong. You don't have to beg me, but I'd rather people would be open minded to listen/receive, regardless it can be something they want, or would want in the future.
No, I do not believe anyone would want to work for all their lives, and just to have their next generation to do the same, and then what?
A lot people gave me the remarks of wanting to lead a simple life, yes, but what's a simple life?
To go to work, get your monthly paycheck, pay bills, survive?
What if, you have to work hard for a short period of time, and have the privilege to see your children grow up, spend more time with them, provide anything for your parents without the worry of having to scrape through the month, do not have to worry about the hospital bills, and age gracefully along the way; would this be an alternative to your current default mode of living?
I'd say you have nothing to lose, more than a mere 30 minutes to hear me sketch out how your future will be like, with the happy life project.
Otherwise, you can just go back to your default mode of living, and trust me, no one will take that away from you.

Have you ever thought of something you really wanted to do in life, like have a really nice bungalow by the seaside, or perhaps, a wild idea of quitting your job to travel all around the world, or perhaps, do community work? Have such wild ideas went to your head before, but they never grow big enough to be realized? Because very often, our subconscious mind will tell us that these ideas are ridiculous to be carried out, and almost always, we crawl back into our ok-ok hole, and continued living the normal way of living, and then forgot about what our dreams are. Or have you voiced out your wild ideas, to someone, or a group of people, but very often, they would make remarks such as "Crazy!", or "It wouldn't work, please wake up." or something like that. And then, our dreams vanished, because we get too afraid of telling people of what we believed in, and because we cared so much about how we are judged, we stopped believing in our dreams, thus we continued living, the normal way of living.
And that's where it becomes scary.
This is because when we stop dreaming, we become "dead". We run out of purpose of living. We run out of living a colorful life, because we would be on auto pilot most of the time.
Is that something you want? Living life on auto pilot mode? Yes, surely, it would be fun to leave your hands up from the wheels once a while, but what if, one day, your autopilot option is no longer functional? What do you do? When you auto run for so long, suddenly you are forced to take hold of the wheel, are you able to do it? Will be prepared for it?
I saw how I can prepare myself in states of such. I shall do what most people are afraid to do now, because I want to do, what most people can't do in the future. It's through this one step, that I shall see my life changed, for the better. To me, if I don't take this step, I will be forever the same as how I am. How do I know? Easy. If you are working, look at your superior, manager, etc. In 10 years time, if you continued doing what you are doing now, that is the kind of person you will end up to be. If you like it, please continue what you are doing now, but if you don't, is there any particular reason why you hold onto your job so much?
Think about it, often in our lives, we protect something that is out of our control. Like our jobs. We work day in, day out to protect our "rice bowl" but what if one day, the bowl runs out of rice, what happens? Go to another bowl? But doesn't that mean, the bowl might also run out of rice one day, and then, what's next?
Don't you think it's scary?
Often, most of us act in crisis. Crisis-driven. But what if now, I share you my vision of doing what we have to do now, to do what we love tomorrow? Would you clear up your clustered mind to listen to what I have to share?

Not go into a hide-and-seek mode, and expect one of us to give up.
Different people I encounter these days. Nope, this is not a ranting entry, but rather, a shout-out to those who secretly follow my blog posts. I share with you an opportunity for a better life; so it's really up to you whether you see the need to jump out of your normal cycle, not something which I would force you to take up. If you don't see it, I would be happy for your time, to explain and after a gazillion times of explaining and yet you still don't see it, fine with me, BUT PLEASE, tell me. Not expect me to guess from your sudden decision to stop picking up my calls, not replying my texts and online messages etc.
Like seriously...
On an unrelated note, I am really happy these days. Like seriously, genuinely happy. People has start noticing my weight reduction, radiant skin, lotsa energy etc. The happy life project is really something powerful which can change people's life, most importantly, transformed mine.
Thank you, for introducing me into this, and be so patiently, waited for the right time for me to step in. I can never thank you enough.

Each and every time, my numbers never come out.
I have heard of stories, on how people go to the extent of praying/asking/seeking for the 4-digit number, which will grant them money. These may seem silly to most of us, but to some, such money which falls from the sky can help some of them come out from poverty or give them a better life.
If, these people are in need of a better life, think of the extent they would go, to get where they wanna be. And if a solution is provided to these people, without having to go through the risks, of having to see their numbers come out, do you think that would be a good idea?

I am actually updating from my S3. Wanted to write something more substantial but too lazy to turn the laptop on. I have plenty of things in mind and really want to write the details out.
Just got back to PJ after a long weekend break. I love the short break back home which I could secure appointments to share about the Happy Life Project. I also managed to meet up with a few friends whom I have not met for awhile now.
Just to share that a lot of people my age are in the midst of resigning from their jobs. You will be surprised that mostly are all professionals such as lawyers, doctors, engineers to name a few. They quit their jobs to do what we call, soul-searching because none of them found what they want in life through their jobs.
If you are reading this blog entry, can you relate to what I have said? Do you like your job enough, to compromise your time and health? What can your job gives you, besides money? Do you own your job, or does it own you? And deep down inside, you secretly know the answers, but why are you still doing it?
Come, let's talk! I have always been fascinated with people's passion to defend their "career". I certainly admire the fact that they know what they want. But if you do not know yet, I suggest all of you to seriously open up to your other options in life.
Simple, look at your parents today. If you continue doing what you are doing now, in 40 years down the road, you will eventually end up like your parents. Is that what you are looking for?
In this life, we only live once. Make the full use out of it. Do not settle for "ok-ok lah" when you deserve the best of everything!

Otherwise you will never have a good story, when you have gotten your success.
I truly believe in that, now. I am someone who always likes everything fast.
On the road; fast lane.
While eating; gobbles.
Internet connection; 4G.
And when I don't see the results fast enough, I get very demotivated and almost always give up.
They say, good things come to the ones who wait.
I don't know how true is that saying, but I can never wait that long.
I have not hung on that long to whatever I do in my life.
Learnt the piano; stopped at Grade 7. (1 more step to reaching Grade 8)
Actively in Badminton; good enough to qualify for state players' team but did not pursue.
This is because I get bored too quickly, and that's very bad. You start something, you end it; with a bang!
Not start something, and just walk away.
I made a pact with myself, that I will do this, until the end. When everyone toils in their blood and sweat, I want to be the one who's offering them a solution to their never-ending problems.
I want to be responsible to the person who brought me into the project, because we are all working for the same goal.
On an unrelated note, I realized that I have learned to think about the people whom I have not noticed for abit in the past. Funny how your perception towards a certain someone can change, when you've changed.

I remember my parents told me when I was growing up, that the people who do sales, are those who didn't really do well at school. I bought every single of their words. That was how ignorant I was. I looked at people who handed me name cards, stating their positions as "Sales Executive", I immediately had a mental image of them, being terrible in school.
I grew up, went into a glamorous local university. Big corporations hear the name, immediately you get hired.
I was lost.
Most of the time, the hiring manager calls me, and asked if I am interested in a certain position, I immediately say "Yes!" but deep down, I knew I was in deep shit. I took the offer though, work in one of the biggest player in the oil industry. Parents, immediate family members, friends were happy for me, because to secure a job, and to be known as an "ENGINEER" is a leverage in many terms. I went into the company, thinking God was nice to me.
HE was. I learned. From a ikan yu in a small firm, I became an ikan bilis in a big pool. Your tasks scaled down to the very tinniest bit, and even your manager's manager doesn't know you. I was finding it difficult to adapt, sure you have many colleagues, but at the end of the day, everyone is just here for work, and in order to climb up, you have to outshine, by so many levels, and in order to do that, you have to be the best (or in some cases, the worst!) to really attract the spotlight.
I was at an autopilot mode, for a while. Get to work, work for almost 6 days a week, long hours, complete tasks, as they come. Sure, once a while, after you complete a task, you get satisfied for a while and the cycle continues. Until one day, I received a memo, stating that the company has implemented the government's new policy of extending the retirement age till 60 years old. At that moment, It struck me. I was at autopilot for so long, that the only way to get hold of my life, is when I reach 60. And then this cycle would stop.
So I revisited the idea of Happy Life Project.
I was skeptical at first. To start up with a capital of RM3000 it seems to be like a big amount at this time.
I wanted to try, because I have always wanted to live a fulfilling life, and for that to happen, I need lotsa money to afford a good lifestyle. Sure, when you are young, you say things like "Cheh, money no need lah" but as I am nearing 30, I begin to worry. I can't visualize how my life will be in 3-5 years down the road.
When I just graduated, I was asked the same question, "How do you see yourself in 3-5 years down the line?"
I guess we were all programmed in a way that all answers get similar.
"I see myself to be a manager of the team. Or a senior executive."
Is that what we really want?
Were we really educated to be managers?
How many of us can actually be managers in a corporation? And how many of us would have our hopes and dreams be stomped because our education failed to teach us what happens if you do not turn out to be a manager at the end of the day.
So I paid. A small sum of money. An advice was given to me, "It's just RM3K, if you make it, you make it. If you don't, you stay miserable."
I took the challenge, I decided to be a part of this team that I have been hearing about, but did not meet in person.
I thought it was going to be an easy business for me. I have so many connections, so many friends who had the vision to do something big in life. I was very excited to introduce the concept of multi level marketing to them, but guess what, I have had so many negative remarks and rejections in 3 days than my 26 years of living. At one point, I felt really demotivated, because I am sad for my peers who were a product of the national's education system. Who failed to see a bigger picture. Who failed to understand the game of life.
It was never meant to be easy. I learned the hard way. If it was easy, anyone and everyone could have done it.
