If you have been reading the newspapers or Facebook lately, you may have came across to this piece of news about a newly-wed LESBIAN couple in Batu Pahat, Johor recently.

After reading about the news, I was curious to know about them, and just needed to google to find their facebook fan page and to actually browse through their wedding pictures. For your information, they went through a traditional Chinese Wedding Ceremony just like any ordinary couples and I was of course, curious to know that they actually managed to convinced their parents to accept them for who they are.

I have known couples who moved in together, but never actually went through the stage of getting married. I mean, I know a couple who actually did the wedding ceremony, i.e, the groom to come grab the bride, but never until a traditional ceremony.
Definitely a big salute to them, because I guess I will never have the courage to bring this up to my family. And to see the disappointed look on their face. To be DIFFERENT from the norm is considered a disgrace to my family. They have been dropping OBVIOUS hints to tell me that it is unacceptable to NOT be dressing as a normal female, what more to actually be with a girl?

I guess I could never afford a wedding ceremony for the missus. And to know she might be disappointed because like any other girls, I bet she would want to at least be in a wedding gown. To me, the more practical side of the relationship, would definitely want to use the excess money for something more useful for our future. But we shall see, who knows, in years to come, we might make the headlines one day.
